Look at this picture. It is our famous big temple in Tanjore, Tamilnadu. It states that when this temple was complete King Chola asked his architect “Will this huge structure ever fall down?” The reply from this master craftsman, was, “Even its shadow will not fall on the earth, My leash” 

Even today, we find that its shadow does not fall onto the earth, and that is all the magic of Trigonometry, and it deals with the ratio of any two sides of a right angled triangle. 

This structure of the Tanjore temple,  is a marvel of trigonometry. 

Trigonometry has played an amazing role, in all of our architectural structures, and it can inspire us to the core of our hearts.
